AgentFuel litepaper
An explanation of the AgentFuel API and the $AFUEL access token. It is not a MiCA white paper, not an offer and not investment advice.
Summary
AgentFuel is a paid API for AI agents and trading bots on Solana: a rug-check for any token, and a live feed of new pump.fun launches with a risk score. The service already runs, and bots pay per call in USDC.
$AFUEL is the token that belongs to this service. If you pay with $AFUEL or hold it, you get a discount or free calls on the API. $AFUEL is not an investment: there is no yield, no profit share and no promise about its price.
The service
The API is live at api.agentfuel.eu. Bots pay per call over the x402 protocol: the bot gets a 402 answer with the price and the payment address, pays from its own wallet and repeats the call. Payment is only settled when the call succeeds. AgentFuel never holds users' money or tokens.
| Part | What it does | Price per call |
|---|---|---|
| Rug-check | Risk score from 0 to 100 for a Solana token: mint and freeze authority, and how much the largest holders own, with pump.fun pools and the Mayhem Mode agent filtered out | 0.002 USDC |
| Launch feed | The newest pump.fun launches with creator, dev buy and risk score | 0.001 USDC |
| MCP server | Both tools for AI agents such as Claude, at /mcp, plus free pre-sign, prompt-injection and x402 checks from Presign Guard and x402 Doctor | 50 free calls a day per IP |
The scores are automated on-chain checks. A low score does not mean a token is safe. The docs explain how to call the API and how the score is made.
What the token gives you
$AFUEL gives you two things on the API: a discount when you pay with it, and free calls when you hold it. Your tokens are never locked; you only prove with a wallet signature that you hold them.
- Pay in $AFUEL: 25% below the USDC price. This switches on once the token exists.
- Holder tiers: the more $AFUEL in your wallet, the more free calls a day and the higher your rate limit.
| Tier | Hold at least | Free calls a day | Calls a minute |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | 1,000,000 | 5,000 | 600 |
| Silver | 250,000 | 1,000 | 240 |
| Bronze | 100,000 | 200 | 120 |
| No tier | 0 | 0 | 30 |
These numbers can change as usage grows. Changes are announced in advance on the token facts page.
Every AFUEL call burns fuel
Half of every $AFUEL payment to the API is burned. Once a month that half is burned on-chain by hand from the API revenue wallet, so the server never has to hold a key that can move tokens. The other half covers the cost of running the service. How much has been burned and the current supply are always public at /v1/token/burn, read straight from the chain, and on the token facts page.
Calls paid in USDC burn nothing. How much is burned depends only on how much the service is used. The burn is a feature of the product, not a promise about the price.
Token split and our own share
$AFUEL launches on pump.fun with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens. No tokens can be added and there is no freeze function. The maker holds about 9% and locks all of it in public vesting contracts. The exact number of tokens follows from the first buy and is published on the token facts page after the launch.
| Part | Share | For | Lock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public, via the bonding curve | about 91% | Free to buy and sell | None |
| Team | about 4% | The maker | 12 months locked, then released evenly over 12 months |
| Rewards for API providers | 3% | Agents that later offer their own services | Vesting contract, paid out by usage |
| Treasury | 2% | Development and servers | Vesting contract |
About the dev buy. The 9% is bought when the token is created, as the very first buy on the bonding curve. That is the lowest price there is (about 2.75 SOL for some 90 million tokens). Everyone who buys after that pays more.
Wallet addresses of the launch wallet and the vesting contracts are published on the token facts page once the token is created. The wallet that receives API revenue is GV8KjQwQmpUZ2ULCygHQn65VvsiPXCNkVKqAuK87pzRq.
Roadmap
The service already runs. There are deliberately no dates: each phase starts when the one before it is done.
- Done and live
Now
- Rug-check and launch feed live, with pool and Mayhem filter
- Pay per call in USDC over x402
- MCP server for AI agents, 50 free calls a day
- Next step
Launch
- Create $AFUEL on pump.fun, our own 9% straight into vesting
- Token facts page and wallet addresses public
- Pay in $AFUEL at 25% off, holder tiers on
- After the launch
First 3 months
- SDK and example bot for developers
- Listings in x402 and agent directories
- Monitoring and weekly usage numbers
- Plan, not a promise
After that
- Marketplace: other agents offer their own services
- Rewards for providers from the 3% pool
- Extra checks, such as dev wallet activity
The roadmap is only about the service. It has no price targets, exchange listings or buybacks, because those would present the token as an investment.
Risks
Only buy $AFUEL with money you can afford to lose completely. Most pump.fun tokens lose almost all of their value within days.
- Price: the price is set only by supply and demand and can go to zero. There is no floor, no buyback guarantee and no duty to buy back.
- Service: the API is a small project run by one person. It can have outages, change or stop. Then the token has no use left either.
- Liquidity: while the token is on the bonding curve, or in a small pool after graduation, selling at a good price can be hard.
- Technical: Solana, pump.fun, the x402 payment facilitator and your own wallet can have bugs or be hacked.
- Rules: crypto law changes. A regulator may judge the status of $AFUEL differently.
- Maker: the maker holds about 9%. Those tokens are locked in vesting contracts, but are released gradually from month 13 and can then be sold.
Legal status and disclaimer
$AFUEL is offered by a private person in the Netherlands, not by a company. The maker treats $AFUEL as a utility token under MiCA, because it only gives access to and a discount on a service that already works (Article 4(3)(c) of the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation). That is why no MiCA white paper has been written, and nothing has been notified to or approved by the AFM or any other authority.
This document is not investment advice and not an offer to invest. There are no promises about price, return or profit. What is in the roadmap are plans; they may happen later, differently or not at all.
